Antonino Currà

From zero to a product that works

I build technology products end to end, on my own: the architecture, the device, the firmware, the machine-learning model that runs on it, and the software that reads the data. It is embedded systems, robotics, and AI, hardware and software.

I have shipped five products in the past three years: a detector used by UK police, a rehabilitation glove, water sensors and a robot that climbs trees. Each one went from feasibility study to field test, working remotely.

With early-stage teams I work as the founding engineer; with small companies, as the fractional CTO. Fixed scopes and clear deadlines.

In the past I worked with startups in Amsterdam. In Mileto, in southern Italy, there is the family business, and I farm the olive groves there.

Family business

Currà Vincenzo is the family business in Mileto, opened by my grandfather in 1963. We sell hardware, building materials, and heating and air-conditioning systems, and we install, maintain, and repair them.
